Super cute spot for brunch as long as you have some time especially on the weekends, but it was totally worth the wait. The only thing we were not super excited about was the waffles, too sweet and too firm IMO. Other than that, the drinks, bakery and meals were all delicious. Blueberry scone was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try some more things!

This place has expanded since last time I was here. Now has a walk up & sit down sides. We had brunch here. Service was a bit slow and waitress seemed new. But the food was delicious. I really enjoyed my pulled pork salad. The mimosas were great as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Hatch Cafe is the sweetest little brunch spot I’ve ever experienced. My husband & I have passed by many times & always wanted to try it. After seeing their pancakes on an episode of Day Tripper, we just had to go. They offer a delicious assortment of fresh homemade baked goods, coffee, breakfast, lunch & even mimosas! I ordered the vanilla almond milk latte & the breakfast sandwich. My husband ordered the Belgium waffles. All amazing! I love how there are two sides to this place; one for a quick pick up (patio area if you’d like to sip on coffee or eat your baked goodies) & a restaurant side for dining in with waitstaff (dining both indoor & out on another patio). So many options so we’ll definitely be visiting again soon.

This place is so delicious and a favorite of mine!! It has so many options and the pricing isn’t bad!! They have a lot of places to sit, two different places for the inside and a nice porch for sitting outside!! Would recommend the waffles, BLT, chocolate chip cookie, caprese sandwich, and the lemonade!! It really is the perfect place for lunch and breakfast!! The staff is so nice and welcoming and the place is nicely decorated and really showcases the feel of bulverde!!

Had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch with my husband and kids at this delightful cafe! From the coffee, pastries, and the food everything was delicious! Very impressed with the hometown & welcoming feeling this small family owned cafe has created! If I could give them 1 million dollars I would so they could expand the seating area and make it a bit more spacious for the customers! It’s small but maybe with everyone’s support we can get this place funded for an expansion! Bring family and friends it’s worth the money you spend!

Hatch Cafe & Bistro – A Vibe & A Half on a Thursday! What a fun little gem! I stopped by Hatch on a Thursday, and let me tell you—it was jumping! I ended up on the to-go side, but don’t let that fool you—this spot serves full-on bistro charm, even in a takeout box. I ordered the BLTA with a side salad, and wow... that salad wasn’t just an afterthought. The chunks of cheese (yes, chunks!) paired with a creamy Italian dressing made it taste as good as it looked. Fresh, colorful, and flavorful. Now the sandwich? Perfection. It was stacked like it belonged in a magazine—almost too pretty to eat. Almost. You know I didn’t let that stop me. The staff? Absolutely delightful. Crazy friendly in the best way—warm, helpful, and clearly loving what they do. It made the whole experience even better. This is definitely the kind of place you go for a tasty bite and a good chat. I already have a mental list of what I want to try next. If you haven’t been, Hatch is calling—don’t keep her waiting!

Such a cute and delicious brunch spot with patio seating in the heart of downtown Bulverde. It was 10 minutes away from north stone oak and right off 281. Mauricio was an amazing server and took amazing care of us! Everything was delicious and I saw so many pastries I want to try next time!
